Truck Driver

BMS Transport Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.
Key Responsibilities:- Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and safe transportation.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, provide professional service, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Logistics: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, and perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
- Certifications: Air Brake (Z) Endorsement and Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
- Documentation: Accurate completion of driver logbook, inspection reports, and other documentation
- Physical Demands: Ability to handle heavy loads, work in a physically demanding environment, and maintain attention to detail
As a Long Haul Truck Driver with BMS Transport Ltd., you will be working in a fast-paced transportation environment, with regular travel across the country. You will be required to work independently, with minimal supervision, and be able to adapt to changing circumstances.
