About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team at Delta Dental Clinic. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Maintain and order dental supplies, ensuring our clinic is well-stocked and equipped to provide high-quality care.
  • Perform reception and clerical duties, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing patient records.
  • Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide guidance on maintaining good oral health.
  • Invoice patients for dental services, ensuring accurate and timely billing.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in a dental setting is an asset, but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
