Job Title: Truck Driver

Tarlok Trucking Ltd. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring accurate and efficient handling.
  • Operate and Drive Trucks: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo during transportation.
Requirements:
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Physical Demands: Be able to handle heavy loads, work in a physically demanding environment, and sit for extended periods.
  • Work Conditions: Work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload, handling heavy loads, and working in various weather conditions.
