Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team at Winfire Hospitality. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk during evening hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Register arriving guests and assign rooms, take, cancel and change room reservations, provide information on hotel facilities and services, and offer general information about points of interest in the area.
  • Front Desk Operations: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments, balance cash, and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Emergency Procedures: Follow emergency and safety procedures.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical tasks, including faxing, filing, and photocopying.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls and relay messages, assist clients/guests with special needs, and contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our guests.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficiency in multi-line switchboard, word processing software, and spreadsheet applications.
  • Security and Safety: Ability to pass a background check and maintain a bondable status.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for extended periods, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, and a team player attitude.
