Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents and patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents and patients with their personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and patients.
  • Assist with mealtime and hydration needs.
  • Participate in care planning and implementation.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
  • Health Care Aide Certificate from a recognized program.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Acute Care).
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
