Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Hamilton, Ontario. This role will involve verifying income details and documentation from dealers, determining customer affordability, and contributing to loan growth and profitability.
About the Role- Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
- Contribute to loan growth and profitability by verifying income details and documentation from dealers, determining customer affordability according to established guidelines, comparing and contrasting employment, income, and loan application information with telephone conversations held between the Income Analyst and dealer, customer's employer(s), or customer.
- Support business objectives of the department ensuring operational effectiveness by recommending appropriate changes to workflows that will provide efficient operations and meet service standards to customers, compliance, and security policies.
- Prior experience in a customer service capacity utilizing the telephone as the primary means of communication is preferred.
- Prior experience in verifying the accuracy of contracts combined with the analysis of income and income sources is preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems including Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet.
- A competitive salary range of $50,000 - $70,000 per year.
