We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes. The successful candidate will lead quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and ensure accurate and complete financial statements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
2. Lead quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and ensure accurate and complete financial statements.
3. Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements.
4. Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
5. Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.
6. Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions.
7. Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.
8. Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end.
9. Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations, including cash.
10. Provide Accounting and P&L related support to management and parent company.
11. Review Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Inventory transactions.
12. Maintain fixed asset ledger.
13. Oversee annual inventory and fixed asset count process.
14. Create and maintain documentation and monitoring of internal control.
15. Lead Year-End Audits, Transfer Pricing Study documentation.
16. Creating fiscal budget and its revisions.
17. Oversee and review sales/use tax compliance and audits.
18. Lead JSOX audit.
19. Special Projects.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
2. 5+ Years related work experience.
3. Proficient in Excel and Word.
4. Knowledge of SAP and Access a plus.
