Technical Lead for IT Operations and Service Management

About the Role:



We are seeking a seasoned Technical Lead to join our IT Operations and Service Management team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the evolution of our service offering as the centerpiece of our IT Service Management portfolio.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Lead and manage critical IT processes, including change, problem, and major incident management
  • Oversee the management of third-party service providers
  • Own and continuously evolve the change management process
  • Transform our problem management process
  • Evolving our Transfer to Operations framework
  • Contribute to the delivery of strategic technology and user-facing projects
  • Lead and champion the transformation of our monitoring and alerting processes
  • Collaborate with leaders across I&T teams to achieve key performance metrics
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvements in incident and service request management


Requirements:



To succeed in this role, you should have:




  • Proven experience in leading a diverse 24/7 team in delivering I&T services
  • Hands-on technical expertise and exposure to end-user and manufacturing computer environments
  • Experience operating in a direct and matrix people management organization
  • Passion for delivering excellent customer service and building relationships with business partners
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to deal with all levels of employees, including senior leadership
  • Passion for recruiting, coaching, training, managing, and mentoring employees
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required due to our globally located workforce and daily interface with leaders in countries where BRP operates
