About the Job:


We are seeking a highly skilled Metal Roofing Professional to join our team at TOP METAL ROOFS. This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have no degree, certificate, or diploma, and should be willing to learn and develop their skills further.



About the Role:


The successful candidate will work on various locations, including commercial, industrial, and residential sites. They will be responsible for installing and repairing metal roofs using hand and power tools, as well as estimating costs and materials. They will also supervise other workers and apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Repair roofing systems
  • Supervise other workers
  • Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces
  • Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms


Required Skills and Qualifications:


The ideal candidate should have working at heights training and a Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. They should also have a valid driver's licence and be physically fit, able to handle heavy loads and work in fast-paced environments.
