Job Description

As a Flat Roofer, you will be responsible for installing and repairing roofs on various buildings. Your duties will include:

  • Installing or replacing asphalt shingles, wood shingles, and shakes, as well as masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs.
  • Installing and repairing metal roofs using hand and power tools.
  • Installing sheet metal flashings.
  • Erecting and installing scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in roofing.
  • Ability to work at heights, in noisy, dusty, and dangerous environments.
  • Excellent physical condition and ability to handle heavy loads.
