Key Responsibilities:
As the HCAP Implementation Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of the Health Career Access Program within long-term care settings. Key responsibilities include:

  1. 1. Providing expert advice on the program's mandate and integration of Health Care Support Workers into site operations.

  1. 2. Coordinating activities related to Health Care Support Worker onboarding, including ensuring sites are aware of orientation and training requirements.

  1. 3. Managing a system to track individual Health Care Support Worker practicum/in-class training rotations.

  1. 4. Developing and/or recommending tools and mechanisms to measure, monitor, and evaluate progress and identify outcomes of the program within long-term care settings.

  1. 5. Providing leadership to roles/teams assigned to the program within Integrated Long-Term Care and Assisted Living to support staff and students in integrating within sites.
