As the HCAP Implementation Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of the Health Career Access Program within long-term care settings. Key responsibilities include:
- 1. Providing expert advice on the program's mandate and integration of Health Care Support Workers into site operations.
- 2. Coordinating activities related to Health Care Support Worker onboarding, including ensuring sites are aware of orientation and training requirements.
- 3. Managing a system to track individual Health Care Support Worker practicum/in-class training rotations.
- 4. Developing and/or recommending tools and mechanisms to measure, monitor, and evaluate progress and identify outcomes of the program within long-term care settings.
- 5. Providing leadership to roles/teams assigned to the program within Integrated Long-Term Care and Assisted Living to support staff and students in integrating within sites.
