The PepsiCo Foods Canada (PFC) Legal Team seeks a skilled Corporate Counsel to join their ranks. As an integral member of the team, you will provide advice on various legal matters, including commercial agreements, procurement due diligence, and EHS compliance.

Job Summary

This 12-month contract position offers a unique opportunity to work with a leading food company. You will be responsible for developing legal strategies, preparing and reviewing critical supplier agreements, and advising on marketing law and compliance policies.

Your expertise will play a crucial role in advancing the business agenda of PepsiCo Foods Canada's Supply Chain Team. You will also assist with procurement matters, including commercial agreements, dispute resolution, and policy development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement legal strategies to support the business goals of PepsiCo Foods Canada's Supply Chain Team.
  • Prepare and review critical supplier agreements, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and policies.
  • Advise on marketing law and compliance policies, ensuring adherence to PepsiCo's standards.
  • Assist with procurement matters, including commercial agreements, dispute resolution, and policy development.
Qualifications:
  • LLB or JD from a leading university, with active admission to Law Society of Ontario or common law provincial bar in Canada.
  • Outstanding writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to create effective presentations.
Salary Information:

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. This estimate is based on national averages and may vary depending on location and industry standards.
