Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Oyster Freight Services Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing logistics plans, coordinating activities with other departments, and ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement logistics plans to prioritize tasks and optimize operations
  • Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure seamless communication and execution
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on key performance indicators
  • Ensure the maintenance and repair of computer equipment and machinery
  • Train staff on duties and policies, and arrange training for staff as needed
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as required
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 35 to 40 hours per week
