Executive Chef

We are seeking a skilled and organized Culinary Specialist to join our team at Canadian Pizza Unlimited. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training and supervising kitchen staff and helpers.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality standards and presentation.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Team Management: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Organizational Skills: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and manage kitchen operations to meet the needs of our customers.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
- Personal Qualities: Flexibility, organized, reliability, and a team player attitude.
As a member of our kitchen team, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation. You will be required to work 35 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
