Retail Floor Manager

Job Summary:
Talize is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Floor Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the general operation of the Retail Sales Floor, making decisions, and taking reasonable action.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Retail Floor Team, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase employee engagement.
- Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives, share best practices, and provide input on store operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage store inventory, including receiving, stocking, and maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
- Monitor and control store expenses, including labor, inventory, and operational costs.
- Develop and implement employee recognition and reward programs to motivate and retain top performers.
- Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Conduct regular store walks to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
- Manage and resolve customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in retail management, preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and increasing employee engagement.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment, collaborate with colleagues, and build strong relationships with employees and customers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and take calculated risks.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Constant bending, reaching, and using hands for repetitive actions.
- Lifting and carrying items up to 50lbs throughout the shift.
- Pushing and pulling merchandise containers on wheels weighing up to 500lbs.
Work Environment:
- Exposure to dust throughout the shift.
- Work schedule hours will include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Interaction with customers, clients, and the public at large.
