H.A. Butler Contracting Ltd is seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team. As a Construction Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, including loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials. You will also assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, operating bridge or overhead cranes to lift, move and place plant machinery and materials, and assisting in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs.

Work Environment

The work environment will be outdoors, noisy, and cold/refrigerated. You will be working in mines and quarries, with room and board provided. The location will be remote, with various locations throughout the area.

Responsibilities
  • Load, unload and transport construction materials
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • Operate bridge or overhead cranes to lift, move and place plant machinery and materials
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications
  • Assist in demolishing buildings
Requirements
