Job Title: Drywall Taper

Aroma Interiors Ltd. is seeking a skilled Drywall Taper to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Drywall Taper to work on various interior drywall and plastering projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying successive coats of compound, sanding seams and joints, and installing drywall sheets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish
  • Install drywall sheets, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening
  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in drywall finishing and plastering
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods
