We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Foreperson to join our team at Trotter & Morton Group of Companies. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical aspects of our projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of skilled tradespeople to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all mechanical work is completed to the highest quality standards, meeting or exceeding client expectations.
- Safety Management: Develop and implement safety plans, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members and stakeholders.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve project-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines and budgets.
- Education: Valid Journeyperson Plumber or Pipefitter certificate.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Foreperson or Senior Construction Supervisor in the construction industry.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of skilled tradespeople. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
