**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement efficient shop processes and workflows in coordination with mechanical project managers and the BIM department to streamline operations and enhance productivity
- Collaborate with project teams to understand project requirements and identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization
- Lead the design and development of standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality control measures to ensure consistency and compliance with industry standards
- Establish and maintain clear communication channels with stakeholders to gather feedback, address concerns, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Train shop personnel on new processes, tools, and technologies to ensure effective implementation and adherence to established procedures
- Monitor and evaluate shop performance metrics to identify areas for enhancement and implement corrective actions
- Stay abreast of industry trends, nest practices, and technological advancements to incorporate innovative solutions into shop operations

**Required Skills**:

- Attention to detail
- Strong and diverse pipefitting knowledge and work with a variety of pope materials and metals
- Organized, capable of managing multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem solving skills
- Estimation or project execution experience would be an asset
- Plumbing code knowledge
- Strong experience in MS Office
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and capacity to motivate and inspire team members towards achieving common goals
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

**Required Experience**
- Experience in construction with a focus in mechanical operations
- 5-10 years experience in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry
- Journeyperson certificate in Pipefitting or Plumbing

**Additional Requirements**
- Travel may be required
