About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team at Titan Excavating & Demolition Ltd. As an Excavator Operator, you will play a critical role in the success of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Planning

Interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to plan methods or sequences of operation, ensuring efficient and safe execution of tasks.

  • Equipment Operation

Operate heavy equipment, including excavators, to perform various construction tasks, such as excavation, demolition, and site preparation.

  • Communication and Teamwork

Read blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements, and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Pre-Operational Checks

Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition, and perform routine maintenance tasks as required.

  • Site Safety

Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment to maintain site safety and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

  • Hydraulic Systems

Operate hydraulic pumping systems to power various equipment and tools, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

  • Experience

At least 1 year of experience in a related field, with a focus on heavy equipment operation and construction site management.

  • Language

Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

  • Work Schedule

A 35-hour workweek is standard, with flexibility to work overtime as required.
