About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team at Titan Excavating & Demolition Ltd. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate and move earth, rock, and other materials on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpretation and Planning
    • Interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to plan methods or sequences of operation
  • Equipment Operation
    • Operate heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, and cranes
    • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment to coordinate with team members and site supervisors
  • Work Environment and Safety
    • Work in a fast-paced construction environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
    • Read blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with site plans
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in heavy equipment operation
  • Language and Work Environment
    • Work Language: English
    • Hours: 35 hours per week
