We are seeking a skilled Wellsite Geologist to join our team at K.C. Waunch Petroleum Consultants Ltd. for a short-term assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate detailed striplogs using Wellsight systems and geological reports using internal data portals.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and provide data to inform steering decisions.
  • Prepare and describe drill cuttings.
  • Export and import survey, MWD, and other data into logs and reports using Pason EDR.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Wellsite Geologist in the WCSB.
  • Experience in the Cardium formation is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Wellsight Systems Striplog.
  • Hold valid H2S, First Aid, and WHMIS 2015 tickets.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Good basic computer skills.
  • Experience with horizontal drilling and steering is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
