About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Nursing Programs Clinical Lead to join our team at Seneca. In this key leadership role, you will provide students with appropriate learning experiences in a clinical setting, utilizing your critical thinking skills and accurate judgment within an environment that is physically and intellectually demanding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective learning plans for students, taking into account their individual needs and abilities.
  • Select clients for student care, ensuring that each student receives the best possible learning experience.
  • Collaborate with faculty and other clinical supervisors to determine and implement an effective learning environment.
  • Assess students' performance, using established forms and evaluation tools to ensure that they meet the course learning outcomes.
  • Maintain an effective and harmonious relationship with members of the health care team, students, clients, and their families.
  • Supervise and monitor ongoing client care provided by students, utilizing set educational guidelines, policies, and procedures of the clinical agency and educational institution.

Requirements

  • A completed four (4) year degree in Nursing or, Two (2) year diploma in Nursing is required. Must be a registered nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario and hold a Certificate of Completion.
  • Minimum two (2) years of recent practical experience in Nursing with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in an acute care setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment, communicate effectively, and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $83,000 - $113,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a generous pension plan.
