About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon Web Services Canada, Inc. - D46. As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with our leadership team to design and implement a flexible and scalable SA team
  • Partner with our team to educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud
  • Own each engagement, helping to work towards a timely and successful delivery of customer outcomes and solutions
  • Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community
  • Create and deliver training and education sessions to widen and deepen technical and process skills for our Demand Generation team
  • Author or otherwise contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers and product teams and help evolve the AWS platform

Requirements
  • 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
  • 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
