Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a motivated technologist with a unique blend of technical depth, business knowledge, and strong interpersonal skills. As a Solutions Architect, you will partner with customers and AWS teams to design and implement highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop a deep understanding of AWS cloud services and the cloud ecosystem
  2. Educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS
  3. Assist with training sessions for customers considering or already using AWS
  4. Collaborate with experienced solutions architects to share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community
  5. Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in specific technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
  • 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures
  • 2+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
  • Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
