Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Salman Sayani. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility.
  • Provide companionship and social support to clients, engaging them in activities and conversations.
  • Assist clients with light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks to clients, promoting healthy eating habits.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Non-smoking work site environment.
  • Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
  • Work in employer's/client's home.
Working Conditions:
  • Up to 9 kg (20 lbs) weight handling.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Reliable transportation provided by employer.
Language:

English.

Hours:

30 hours per week.
