Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Tri-County Mennonite Homes. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

About the Role:
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with medication administration and monitoring
  • Support residents with daily living activities, such as eating, toileting, and mobility
  • Encourage social interaction and engagement among residents
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Requirements:
  • Personal Support Worker certificate from an accredited Ontario Community College or a Registered Private College
  • Experience in providing person-centered care in a long-term care or community setting
  • Knowledge of the Residents' Bill of Rights and ability to promote these rights
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
