About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Katsu Express Ltd. as a key member of our culinary staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Assist in preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment, and perform cleaning tasks as required.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, and assist in ordering and receiving inventory.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen and achieve our high standards of quality and service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced kitchen environment with heavy loads and physically demanding tasks.
  • Personal Qualities: Attention to detail, client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, and a team player attitude.
