Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at South St. Burger. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes are properly stored and sanitized, and assisting with food preparation and packaging.
Responsibilities- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
- Store and retrieve supplies, ingredients, and cleaning products
- Assist with food preparation, including portioning, wrapping, and packaging
- Remove trash and recyclables from the kitchen area
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors
- Assist with receiving and storing supplies, ingredients, and cleaning products
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation procedures
