About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Canadian development team and contribute to building Forescout's next-generation security products. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative and scalable applications in a cloud environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps, data scientists, QA, and product management throughout the development cycle in an Agile environment.
- Research and draft design proposals for new solutions.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code across the full stack from database to frontend.
- Implement responsive UI designs and enhance the application performance.
- Conduct code reviews and advocate best practices for software development.
- Investigate and resolve arising operational issues.
- Lead and mentor junior developers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 7+ years of professional experience writing code in Java for the backend, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and Java-based web services in a Linux environment.
- 3+ years of Microsoft Azure cloud experience with multiple services.
- 3+ years of building single-page applications using frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with automation tools like Jenkins or GitHub actions.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools such as JUnit, Mocha, Jest, Cypress, and/or Selenium for both unit and integration testing.
- Awareness of web security practices and the ability to implement security in application layers using Azure security features and application-level safeguards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot efficiently.
