About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Team Leader to join our team at Lake Country Co-op. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, leading a team of gas bar clerks, and ensuring the smooth operation of our C-Store and Gas Bar.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legendary service to customers through various communication channels
- Lead a culture of safety and maximize operational efficiency
- Assist with effectively managing the development and direction of reporting team members
- Oversee sales, margins, expenses, inventory, and sales for the department
- Provide training to gas bar clerks for all store duties and opening and closing procedures
- Be familiar with and adhere to Lake Country Co-op policies and government regulations
- Complete daily reports, including cash up and reconciliations
- Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems
- Assist with maintaining image and brand standards
- Perform minor repairs to assets as required
About You:
We are looking for a candidate with strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. You should have experience in C-Store/Gas Bar operations and general merchandise items. You should also be able to plan and organize your own work and that of others, supervise others, and delegate to others.
