Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team at Maple Leaf Foods Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, including switchgear, transformers, and electrical motors
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical control systems and other related devices
  • Interpret electrical code specifications and conduct preventive maintenance programs
  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations
Requirements
  • Industrial Electrician Red Seal Certificate
  • Experience in industrial electrical maintenance and repair
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
  • Ability to work at heights and in cold/refrigerated environments
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced industrial environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and bending. The position requires manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
