About the Role

At Alstom, we're committed to creating a greener and smarter mobility future. As an Electro & Mechanical Interface Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in defining and managing project interfaces between Subsystems, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficient project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review design packages in liaison with E&M subsystems to identify system interfaces and create interface registers.
  • Develop Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and propose leaders for interfaces, ensuring production and agreement with subsystems.
  • Ensure interface consistency and completeness by reviewing designs and participating in requirements management processes.
  • Manage detailed interfaces definition relevant to 3rd parties, identifying risks, scope gaps, and grey areas as needed.
Requirements
  • University degree in Engineering, preferably with Professional Engineers of Ontario (P.Eng.) or in progress.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Interface Engineering, with field experience and knowledge of railway systems.
  • Fluent in English, with strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Self-motivated, detailed-oriented, and able to learn new techniques in a changing environment.
