We are seeking a skilled Precision Machinist to join our team at TNT Tools Inc. as a CNC Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to produce high-precision parts.
Key Responsibilities- Dimensional Control: Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts to ensure accuracy and conformance to specifications.
- Workpiece Preparation: Measure and lay out work pieces in preparation for assembly, ensuring precise fit and finish.
- Engineering Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to understand production requirements.
- Component Assembly: Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance, utilizing precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions.
- Machining Operations: Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools, including boring machines, cylindrical grinders, milling machines, planers, and sawing machines.
- Quality Assurance: Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications, utilizing precision measuring instruments.
- Tooling Expertise: Utilize hand and power tools, as well as computer numerical control (CNC) machines, to produce high-precision parts.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a machine shop or related field.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
