We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Parts Manager to join our team at Performance Auto Group. As a key member of our dealership, you will be responsible for managing the parts department, ensuring efficient inventory management, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring timely delivery of parts to customers and other dealerships.
- Develop and implement effective inventory control systems to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
- Collaborate with the service and body shop departments to ensure seamless parts delivery and minimize downtime.
- Recruit, train, and supervise a team of parts advisors to provide excellent customer service and support.
- Monitor and analyze inventory reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate competitive pricing and ensure timely delivery of parts.
- Stay up-to-date with new models, technical service bulletins, and industry developments to provide expert advice to customers and colleagues.
- Conduct regular meetings with department employees to discuss activities, goals, and challenges.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, company policies, and procedures.
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in business administration or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a dealership environment, with a minimum of 1-3 years in a management role.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, automotive systems, and parts pricing procedures.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Valid Ontario driver's license and good driving record.
