About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at JLSQ Construction Services LTD. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it meets specifications
  • Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
  • Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
  • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
  • Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
Work Environment

This role requires working in a dusty and noisy environment, often outdoors. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Attention to detail and sound discrimination
What We Offer

We offer a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
