Concrete Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Canada Limitee. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on concrete surfaces.
Key Responsibilities:- Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet specifications.
- Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade.
- Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
- Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it is properly set.
- Level the top surface of concrete according to grade and depth specification.
- Impart the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
- Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures as required.
- Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and ensure durability.
- Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces to their original condition.
- Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy.
As a Concrete Finisher, you will work in a variety of locations, including construction sites, warehouses, and manufacturing facilities. You will be exposed to dust, heights, cold temperatures, and other hazardous conditions. You must be physically fit and able to lift heavy loads, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods.
Requirements:- 2 years of experience in concrete finishing or a related field.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
- Flexibility to work in a variety of locations and environments.
The primary language of work is English.
Work Schedule:The work schedule is 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as required.
