We are seeking a highly skilled Carpenter to join our team at PB 152128 CONSTRUCTION LTD. as a Construction and Renovation Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the construction and renovation of residential and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and implement building plans in accordance with building codes and regulations, using measuring tools and equipment.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to construct and renovate buildings.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to ensure the structural integrity of buildings.
- Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to complete the construction and renovation of buildings.
- Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Conduct site surveys and levels to ensure accurate measurements and construction.
- Train and supervise apprentices to develop their skills and knowledge in carpentry and construction.
- Maintain and repair residential and commercial properties, including wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.
- 3-4 years of experience in carpentry and construction.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Ability to work at heights and in noisy, dusty environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
