Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager or Senior Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading our audit teams and ensuring the correct accounting practices and methodologies are applied to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the customer's entire audit mandate
- Manage the audit from planning to completion of financial statements
- Participate in the implementation of our business plan within the working group
- Collaborate with the client's finance team to ensure that all audit requirements are met
- Advise, train, and supervise audit staff
- Help clients find solutions to their financial needs
- Work with clients and partners on complex financial issues to find appropriate solutions
Requirements
- Canadian CPA designation or international equivalent
- 5-7 years of experience working with a public practice accounting firm
- Extensive understanding of business, accounting, management, and practice development principles
- Proven people management, relationship building, and leadership skills
- Strong strategic planning and conceptual thinking skills
