Domestic Housekeeper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Housekeeper to join our team at the Private Home of the M Family. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our home.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds, and change sheets.
  • Household Management: Stock linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, pick up debris, and empty trash containers.
  • Errands and Shopping: Shop for food and household supplies.
  • Reliability and Dependability: Be available for the advertised start date, currently legally able to work in Canada, willing to relocate for this position, and reside in proximity to the advertised location.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
  • Transportation: Vehicle supplied by employer, travel expenses paid by employer.
