Health Care Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate Health Care Assistant to join our team at Normanna Care Services Limited Partnership. As a Health Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.
Job SummaryThis is a permanent position with a salary range of $28-$32 per hour (based on 32-40 hours per week) and includes health care plan benefits. Free parking is available on site.
Responsibilities- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Supply and empty bed pans, take patients' blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Make beds and maintain patients' rooms to a high standard.
- Supervise patients' exercise routines to promote physical well-being.
- Transport patients between care facilities as needed.
- Administer first aid in emergency situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Will train as a Health Care Assistant.
- Excellent oral communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Standing for extended periods and ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
