Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at True Line Transport Inc. As a Heavy Haulage Specialist, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining our fleet of heavy trucks, transporting goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Ensure all vehicles are in good working condition, perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections, and maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Transport Goods and Materials: Safely transport goods and materials across various routes, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Manage Cargo and Documentation: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, and ensure all necessary documentation is completed and up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Coach colleagues on new methods and work techniques, and work collaboratively with other drivers and support staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Meet Safety and Security Standards: Maintain a valid driver's license, adhere to all safety and security protocols, and ensure all necessary certifications and endorsements are up-to-date.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications and Endorsements: Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, Driver's License (Class 1 or A), and other relevant certifications.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent oral communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Work Environment: The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring the ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and handle heavy loads.
