We are seeking an experienced Administrative Operations Manager to join our team at Mount Saint Vincent University Students Union. Key Responsibilities- Administrative Operations
- Implement new administrative procedures and policies to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Delegate work to office support staff and provide guidance and training as needed.
- Carry out administrative activities of the establishment, including budgeting, financial management, and human resources.
- Office Services
- Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
- Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Financial Management
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and plan, administer, and control budgets for client projects, contracts, equipment, and supplies.
- Direct and advise staff engaged in providing records management, security, finance, purchasing, human resources, or other administrative services.
- Human Resources
- Interview, hire, and provide training for staff, ensuring that all employees are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
- Direct and control corporate governance and regulatory compliance procedures within the establishment.
- Reporting and Evaluation
- Prepare reports and briefs for management committees evaluating administrative services.
- Evaluate the operations of a department providing administrative services and make recommendations for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 5 years or more of experience in administrative operations or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Permanent full-time position.
- 40 hours per week.
- English language required.
