About Prolium Industries Ltd.
We are a leading provider of industrial storage tank cleaning services in Western Canada, specializing in the cleaning of above ground storage tanks, vessels, bullets, and towers for various companies in the Oil & Gas Industry.
The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Supervisor to join our team. This position is responsible for overseeing the safe and effective product removal and cleaning of large-scale petroleum storage tanks. The successful candidate will be driven, results-orientated and a team player, with a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies and procedures, and always acting in a safe manner.
- Oversee the preparation and execution of cleaning activities at customer facilities.
- Complete all required paperwork, including job reports/tickets, LEMs, billing, safety forms, drivers log, KPI's, Journey Management and other related items.
- Liaise between Operations and Client, communicating with and reporting to Operations to ensure contractual obligations are met, including preparing and submitting project progression status reports and ensuring change orders are completed, communicated, and executed before any additional work is performed.
- Assist with training and mentorship of field employees.
- Provide feedback of field service employees to HR regarding performance evaluations for individuals to whom this position has direct supervision.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Class 5 driver's license is required.
- Previous tank cleaning and/or confined space entry experience required.
- Previous automation cleaning considered preferred.
- Possesses strong leadership skills.
- Strong Communication skills; must be fluent in speaking/writing English.
- 3-5 years of industry and supervisory experience.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug & Alcohol Test.
- Ability to work with minimal management supervision in a team and safety focused environment.
- Must be physically fit and able to safely lift to 50 lbs.
Safety Ticket Requirements:
- Leadership of Safety Excellence.
- H2S Alive.
- Fall Protection.
- Confined Space Entry and Rescue.
- CSTS 2020.
- WHMIS 2015.
- Standard First Aid.
