About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fire Protection Specialist to join our team at NEW TECH FIRE PROTECTION LTD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining sprinkler systems to ensure the highest level of fire safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Connect piping systems to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, compressors, and control equipment
  • Install clamps, brackets, and hangers to support piping systems and sprinkler and fire protection equipment, using hand and power tools
  • Install valves, alarms, and associated equipment
  • Join pipes and piping sections using soldering and welding equipment
  • Service and repair sprinkler systems
  • Test systems for leaks using testing equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Work Environment

As a Fire Protection Specialist, you will work in various locations, including confined spaces and wet/damp environments. You will be required to work physically demanding tasks, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
