Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Pinchin. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing hazardous materials projects throughout the region, maintaining client relationships, and overseeing consulting projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage hazardous materials projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Oversee consulting projects, including assessments, contract preparation, and abatement work, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Supervise project technologists, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Perform hazardous materials assessments, preparing reports and management plans, and developing remediation plans.
- Conduct sampling and analysis, and prepare contract documents for hazardous material abatement projects.
- Manage project finances, ensuring accurate budgeting and cost control.
- Train and mentor junior and intermediate staff, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
- Maintain and enhance quality control within the group, ensuring adherence to company standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of the yearly business plan, contributing to the company's strategic objectives.
Requirements
- Degree, diploma, or certificate in Construction Technology, Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering, or a Bachelor of Science or Applied Science.
- 4-5 years of experience in hazardous materials or indoor environmental quality consulting.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and proof written reports and correspondence.
- Good spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Professional verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage assigned staff during project-specific work.
- Valid driver's license, insurance, and car required.
- Availability to travel.
