We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

As a Vehicle Post-Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our fleet vehicles. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing thorough evaluations of equipment through multipoint inspections
  • Verifying part installation, labor performed, and quality of workmanship
  • Reporting and repairing any repair deficiencies
  • Educating technicians on expected quality

You'll also be responsible for continued learning via U-Haul's education program to stay up-to-date with current technology and new fleet arrivals.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools
  • Advanced understanding of automotive/trailer mechanics
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to maintain a clean driving record
  • Keen attention to detail

Work Environment

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts requiring special safety precautions, such as working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear.

Physical Demands

The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 pounds assisted or unassisted.
