Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at ALMAC MOTOR HOTEL. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our hotel, motel, and resort.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of hotel hallways, floors, and stairs
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Perform minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
  • Perform safety and security checks
  • Supervise other workers
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Dependability, initiative, judgement, and reliability
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week. The work environment is physically demanding and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
