Job Title: Building Caretaker

At ALMAC MOTOR HOTEL, we are seeking a reliable and skilled Building Caretaker to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our hotel, motel, and resort.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors and stairs.
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers.
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
  • Perform safety and security checks.
  • Supervise other workers.
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs, such as painting and drywall repair.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work on site with minimal supervision.
Work Environment:

This is a physically demanding role that requires repetitive tasks, bending, crouching, and kneeling. The work setting is a hotel, motel, and resort environment.
