Job Summary

Mucho Burrito is seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in food preparation and handling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Staff Training: Train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of food, supplies, and equipment, and order supplies as needed.
  • Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work area, adhering to health and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Certifications: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate and Food Safety Certificate.
